PA Damian X. Garza has been a Physician Assistant for over six years and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.  PA Garza is a graduate of the Interservice Physician Assistant Program and earned a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. 

After graduation, PA Garza practiced as a primary care provider in Shreveport, Louisiana before being accepted into the Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship Program at Wilford Hall Medical Center (WHMC) in San Antonio, Texas. 

During his fellowship he received extensive training from 9 subspecialties in orthopedics to include exclusive teaching from Dr. Cyr.  He is presently a staff member of the WHMC Orthopedic Surgery Clinic and also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship Program. 

PA Garza is a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of Air Force Physician Assistants.
