• Digital Nerve Repair

Digital Nerve Repair:

Repair of nerves in the fingers and hand is recommended to restore protective sensation (so you don’t burn yourself) to the thumb and border digits and to prevent formation of painful neuroma (nerve scar) in the central (middle) digits.  The nerves are typically injured by lacerations of the fingers and hand and my be associated with tendon, bone and arterial injuries with more severe trauma.
