Guy Fogel, M.D., FAAOS

We welcome Dr. Guy Fogel to Orthopaedic & Spine Institute! Dr. Fogel is a graduate of the University Of New Mexico School Of Medicine in 1977. He completed his residency training in Orthopaedic surgery at the Mayo Clinic, in 1983. He practiced general orthopaedic surgery for more than ten years. His Orthopedic Spine fellowship training was with the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas in 2002 where he was trained by mentors who have dedicated teaching and surgical practice to disorders of the spine.

Dr. Fogel is an expert in disorders and injuries of the neck, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He has published more than fifteen scientific journal articles concerning disorders of the spine. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a diplomate of the American Board of Spine Surgery. Dr. Fogel has clinical interests in minimally invasive treatment of neck and back disorders, spine injuries, scoliosis, and failed spine surgery. Dr. Fogel is a member of the North American Spine Society, Texas Spine Society, Texas Orthopedic Association, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Fogel is married with three adult daughters. He enjoys his family time and particularly the new grandchildren.
