PRINCIPAL AND CO-FOUNDER
Le Ann M. Cyr attended George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia for her undergraduate and graduate degrees in the 90’s. She attended Georgetown University in Washington D.C. for her Graduate Assistantship in 1995. In 1996, she completed her Master’s Degree, graduating with honors and a 4.0 G.P.A.
After Graduate School, Le Ann worked for a Fortune 500 company as a Corporate Headhunter; focusing primarily on the recruitment and placement of professionals in the Accounting and Finance fields. It was this period of her career that gave her the foundation in corporate America and business industry knowledge needed for her future entrepreneurial endeavors.
Le Ann continued in the staffing and recruitment industry until deciding to help start the Orthopaedic & Spine Institute with her husband, Dr. Steven J. Cyr. After six successful years with OSI, Steven and LeAnn opened a sister company, Healthcrave Medical Centers, a multidisciplinary wellness and lifestyle management facility. Subsequently, they started the Children’s division of OSI, which led to their current passion, the OsteoCorps. The OsteoCorps is a group of original superhero characters created by Dr. Cyr to help educate children about disease and illness. It is edu-tainment at its best and has received much
attention and prominence, both locally and at the national level.
For many years after starting OSI, Le Ann fulfilled the role of Chief Executive & Financial Officer for OSI Medical Centers. In this capacity, she was primarily responsible for managing the financial, marketing and operational aspects of the business. She focused on ways to expand and profitably grow the company, including strategic partnerships that enhanced the patient experience and promote the business. In 2014, she decided to step down as CEO to focus on a new venture, a non-profit foundation in her family’s name, The Cyr Family Charitable Fund, which is housed under the SAAF. Much of her efforts over the past two years have been dedicated to helping non-profits raise money for their particular cause on behalf of her family’s Charitable Fund. Aside from what the Cyr’s have given privately, Le Ann has been responsible for assisting charities in raising over $500k in the past couple years alone.
Le Ann Cyr resides in San Antonio, Texas, with her husband and four children.
Their fourth child, they recently adopted locally in San Antonio. The Cyr’s are a team and they are always searching for ways to contribute, through their philanthropic work, to local community and global non-profits; primarily focusing on Christian-based charities. Le Ann feels that it is a necessity that her children are raised to recognize the importance of being a productive and contributing member of society and to give back to their community for God’s glory, not their own.
