• Wrist Fusion

Wrist Fusion:

      Wrist fusion is reserved for the severely damaged and painful wrist when all other options and treatments have been exhausted.  It usually involves placement of a fusion plate from the end of the forearm bone across the wrist to the metacarpal in the hand.  Bone from elsewhere is used to turn the wrist into one solid piece of bone in an effort to relieve pain.
